Weaving the new creation: stages of faith and the public church
The composing of this book has been like weaving, series of such tapestries. Each chapter is a tapestry in its own right, telling a story and requiring careful weaving and blending of color and form. But then the whole collection of tapestries has been woven, as it were, to be placed in circular space from the center of which an observer can see and enter into them all. Themes in the separate chapters link up up to form a circular room of interrelated meanings and perspectives.
