This work describes Evangelical Anglicans and how they did theology in the 1980s. The Evangelical Anglican approach to Scripture is the same as that of any other type of Evangelical as far as I can tell, though some inform me that the British have a slightly different view of Scripture than American Evangelicals. I confess I myself didnt notice as the book described the Evangelical Anglican approach and emphasis on Scripture as they seek to create a systematic theology that takes into account the Old and New Testaments, and though they are Anglicans they place almost no emphasis whatsoever on the 2 Gospel sacraments as means of grace as do traditional Anglicans and the 39 Articles of the Church of England. Things that Anglicanism is usually noticed for such as bishops, vestments, liturgy, the church calendar, the Book of Common Prayer are not to be found here, but perhaps this book will be of interest to you if you are unfamiliar with Evangelicals or are alarmed by their growing influence in the Church of England.
