Pilgrims on the Sawdust Trail brings together scholars and church leaders to examine the new ecumenical conversations and relationships among evangelicals and the following groups: fundamentalists, Pentecostals, mainline Protestants, and Roman Catholics. The fourteen contributors, seek to forge a common Christian identity without glossing over the deep and meaningful differences that continue to exist.
