The meaning and use of baptizein

---

A 'must have' book for one's library. How anyone could argue after reading this book that the baptizein or baptizo family of words could mean anything other than immersion, plunge, submerge, is beyond me. A knowledge of NT Greek is helpful but not essential. Anyone insisting on sprinkling in the face of such lexical and theological evidence simply loves traditions of men more than the Word of God.
