From Hebrews to Revelation: a theological introduction
The class with this book was awesome (though we never got into revelation). I was moved from several theological points to opposing views and then towards a neutral ground. Not that I was swayed easily, but the arguments were compelling and led me to have to truly consider the implication of either - and not being able to truly side with either. Opening chapter alone was worth the price of purchase. Stellar introduction to a modern method of biblical interpretation; combines historical considerations with literary criticism. Individual chapters for various books of the Bible between Hebrews and Revelation offer key themes, literary structure, and historical context that aid in a basic understanding of each book.
