Praying the Psalms

---

This a book that invites us yo discover in the Psalms a way of getting in touch with, affirming, and expressing our life experiences. In order to pray the Psalms, two things are necessary : (1) the Psalms them selves and (2) the honest recognition and acceptance of our own life experiences. Our work in praying the Psalms is somehow to bring the stylized, mostly disciplined speech of the Psalms together with the raw, ragged, mostly formless experiences in our lives.
