This book is more about knowing the "how to" and "what for" of the counseling movement in Christian lay working. I was a bit side stepped by its content due to its presupposition on to those who would be reading, people like me. What I mean is that it refers to the importance of lay counselors but not (For) the lay counselors. I think its ok because it has a lot of references to check out on. Yan definitely did a lot of research though.
