Christian apologetics, c.1-2
An excellent book that not only presents some of the evidential proofs for Christianity, but also delivers the logic and philosophy behind it. It from this work, which I went back to again and again, that I came to understand the correspondence theory of truth (as opposed to the coherence theory), which as shaped my thinking to this day. Correspondence is very consistent with propositional truth of Scripture, as well as a priori first things of existence which is Thomist in origin and contradicts modern philosophy with its humanistic emphasis that truth begins in the mind. A must that rounds out an evidentialist approach, and teaches one how to think and stay mentally ahead of the philosophies that guide modern thought and science.
