A missionary in China prayed for many years that God would give him missionaries from British Universities to help in China. One by one, God began to work in the hearts of 7 different men and eventually brought them together to fulfill that very prayer.
These men weren't just ordinary people of their day and many great things were expected of them in the world. One was even acknowledged as the greatest cricket player of his day. But God's calling upon each of their lives was more important to them than anything the world had to offer. They gave up much to give God their all. I was awed by their commitment to God.
It was great to see how God orchestrated things to bring this group together and their obedience and willingness led to a nation forever being changed. God does indeed answer prayers..
