Text
Deutero Isaiah: a theological commentary on Isaiah 40-55
In this interpretation of Isaiah 40-55 , the author lets the text of the Old Testament prophet speak directly to the reader that he may sense the Word of God in the historical situation of the Exile. He draws out the thought of the writer as a whole, seen in the light of God's intention for Israel and his loveing relationship with his people.
