The openness of being: natural theology today
First, the book it is excellent, and exceeds my expectations. While it requires hard work on my part (not finished yet), I don't find it impossible to understand, and my efforts have been richly rewarded. Understanding that Cobb bases his views on Whitehead's philosophy as presented in Process and Reality, I ordered both books together, which has proven beneficial to me. Having a lifelong hunger for learning, and limited time to pursue it, I find a feast in this study. Late in life, I find good friends in these and several others, who think independently, and in their writing, help me to grasp my own theology in a way that I can discuss with others. I strongly recommend both books to anyone who is willing to exert some effort in their reading, and is not afraid to question their own perspectives..
