Kistemaker provides a commentary that at once has sufficient depth that the scholar will benefit from reading it while at the same time is clear and concise enough that the layperson who has not already studied Hebrews extensively will find the material accessible. Comments on the Greek text are set apart from the rest of the commentary so that those who lack knowledge of Greek or are not interested in Greek usage can quickly skip over this material.
