Not a chance: the myth of chance in modern..
A leading theologian points out and descries the "faith" many scientists place in statistics as scientific explanation. Mr. Sproul points out what should be, but apparently is not, obvious: Statistics describe, but cannot, by definition, explain.
He takes to task those scientists, beginning mainly with Niels Bohr, who seek to substitute probability, or chance, for real scientific explanation.
Sproul cannot, as a serious theologian, accept the proposition that the universe is governed by chance. He points out that scientists cannot and should not, as scientists.
